saving centreless cylindrical lapping and polishing of longer work pieces.
The work pieces are machined between two parallel running rollers.

Those of the FLM 500-R are produced using the 2-Wheel principle.
This is particularly suitable for high-precisionmachining of small,
round parts as far as the tolerance range of nanotechnology.
The machine can also quickly be converted to a normal 1-Wheel FLM 500.
